The best beers under one roof

Keith Brewery

We’re a small craft brewery based in the town of Keith in the heart of the whisky distilling region of Speyside. Instead of whisky though we spend all our time, effort, and yes, even our marketing budget, producing a delicious range of handcrafed beers.

About Keith Brewery

Well, for a start, how many other beers are named after a small town in Speyside? exactly.

But there’s more - our range is full of flavour and character and makes a refreshing change from mass produced mouthwash. We use the best hops and Scottish malts money can buy. We pour buckets of passion and eclectic ingredients into our beers. Our keiths are as different as chalk

and cheese and, coincidentally, don’t taste of either. However from lager and stout to pale ale and barley wine, they all have one thing in common. No chemicals. and they’re crafted using water from our own private well – water which comes from the finest Scottish clouds and our writer is getting paid by the hour so we’ll move on…

About Spey Valley

The company was founded in 2007 by a distiller, David MacDonald, and a local farmer, Innes MacPherson, who set out to produce world-class beers on the farm in Mulben. Initially brewing from a tiny pilot plant, for the first four years the brewery survived on the owners’ day jobs and focused exclusively upon getting the recipes and the products right. Distribution was deliberately confined to a

limited number of informed, local buyers and it wasn’t until 2011 that the first commercial casks arrived on the market.

The first product – Spey Stout – was enthusiastically received by consumers and critically acclaimed throughout the wider brewing world. Encouraged by this early success, the company expanded production in 2012 and began distributing more widely throughout the North-East and further afield.
